This was my personal jacket that brought me much joy - Gene had one just like it and we often wore them when we went to lunch together. Not everyone on the crew received one - it cost $100 back in 1979! But Gene bought one for me. It is a beautifully made cream-color, heavy double satin, no visible seams on inside (could be reversed) with pockets. The back is embroidered in royal blue with large letters saying "STAR TREK," with "The Motion Picture" above that, in smaller letters. The Enterprise is embroidered in cream below the lettering. The ribbing in the neckline and sleeves does have some small moth holes, but the jacket itself is perfect. (I am lowering the price on this rather than repairing it and then charging more.) | Star Trek V: The Final Frontier Official Crew Jacket |

Remember the scenes in Star Trek V where Kirk, Spock and McCoy sit around the campfire? Bones wore a Levi Denim jacket with white fleece lining. So the production company had the jacket duplicated and gave each crew member one as a thank-you. Mine was always kind of big on me, even though it's marked "small." So I only wore it a couple of times. It's heavy blue denim with front breast and side pockets, Levi's brass snaps down the front and on the sleeves. Lettering over the left front pocket reads: "Star Trek The Final Frontier". The waistband has adjustable snaps. It's 100% cotton exterior, with the warm, fuzzy lining of polyester. |

| Star Trek: The Next Generation First Season Official Crew Jacket. |

During "ST: TNG" 's first season, from 1987-88, I worked closely with our jacket designer and Gene in creating the very first crew jacket for the show. We came up with a maroon, heavy nylon lined jacket with breakaway sleeves so the jacket can be worn as a stylish vest.". The jacket features the gold embroidered name of the crew member (mine says "Susan") over the upper right - so you might want this if you know someone with my name! If it's not your name, you're sure to be noticed and called Susan anyway!). The upper left features the "delta" communicator, embroidered in silver and gold. The back is truly magnificent - a blue, silver and yellow galaxy with the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" logo in silver, with silver stars scattered across it. The design covers about half of the back. The lining is black quilting, with black trim on collar and cuffs. I only wore this a few times, so it's like new! |

This was my favorite T-shirt back in the late 1970's. I purchased it shortly after we arrived on the lot, and was able to fit into it for a few years (but, sadly, no longer!). It is a style that was very popular back then, the "French cut T" with little cap sleeves. It is quite well worn - some of the white sky above what I call the "Paramountain" is cracking, and the fabric is a bit thin. But oh, the stories this shirt could tell! lettering says Paramount A Gulf + Western Company (the organization that owned Paramount back in those days) and below that, Paramount Pictures. You'll be the talk of your friends in this! 50/50 and totally preshrunk. Label says "Medium," but it seems "Small." |

During the filming of "ST:TMP" back in 1978-79, many of the staff showed our loyalty by purchasing and proudly wearing T-shirts that depicted the refitted Enterprise, NCC-1701, along with the lettering, "Star Trek" and, in smaller letters sandwiched in between, "The Motion Picture." Mine is a bit worn (there is some "pilling"), but clean as a whistle. A real collector's item! (See George Takei pictured in this same style shirt on the Favorite Pics page of this website! | Inside Star Trek - Vinyl Record album and T-Shirt |

This is the record album that was produced in the recording session I described in Log Entry 6 and in the Photo of the Week for 3/4. The album is a real collector's item, and features Gene Roddenberry, DeForest Kelley, William Shatner, Mark Lenard and Isaac Asimov, as well as the theme from "Star Trek" and other music. On the back cover, it is marked "Demonstration: Not for Sale." This was given to me by Ed Naha, who was with Columbia Records at the time, as a way of thanking me for suggesting the album. Along with it, I was given the promotional T-shirt. The shirt is the same navy blue in color as the record jacket, and sports the same blueprint of the Starship Enterprise on the front. The lettering on the back says "Inside Star Trek featuring Gene Roddenberry on Columbia Records and Tapes." Cotton, French cap sleeves, good condition on both record and T-shirt! |
